Dr. Sana H. Obaid is dedicated to providing state of the art obstetrical and gynecologic services to women. She uses the latest advances in medicine to care for her patients through each stage of their lives. She hopes to create a warm caring environment where the patient is a partner in the management of her health issues. She is constantly training and studying to make sure her patients have the latest options available. In obstetrics, Dr. Obaid wishes to bring you the highest-level of care for both you and your baby. Dr. Obaid delivers her patients in a hospital with a level 3 nursery and 24-hour in-house anesthesiology.
Dr. Obaid’s office is equipped with, colposcopy, where she performs colposcopic cervical biopsies in addition to performing endometrial biopsy, and offers many in office treatments like genital warts and removal of genital area moles. Dr. Obaid always strives to get her patients into the office as soon as possible with urgent problems.
Dr. Obaid’s office hours are by appointment. If the patient comes on time, they are seen on time without waiting.

Dr. Sana Obaid received her MD degree from Zagazig University in Egypt. She did her internship at King Saud University Hospital in Saudi Arabia. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College, New York. Dr. Obaid has over 35 years of experience and is Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Obaid is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and she is also certified in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from UMDNJ. She conducted a research entitled “Cost effectiveness of routine screening of gonorrhea and Chlamydia in urban inner city population” and received the first place in New York College Hospitals research for the year 2009.
